Beth Hurley is an absolute dream to work with. She captured the most incredible moments at our wedding…she made everyone feel at ease…and she was a warm and friendly person to be around. Beth is a fantastic presence at weddings. She photographed 2 of our weddings, back-to-back, and was approachable to family and friends, flight-hearted, directive (when necessary, as herding cats is difficult!) and unobtrusive all at the same time. Elizabeth Hurley is a pleasure to work with. She had great instincts as far as locating her photo booth in a challenging environment, and selected props that I hadn’t seen before – in other words, fresh. Elizabeth was very calm and at all times accommodating with the flow of our event. We had to make a rain plan and Elizabeth was flexible, and when it seemed possible to cut the cake outdoors, Elizabeth was very enthusiastic and incorporated umbrellas and 4′ long sparklers into her shots. She was unwavering with the tough conditions and brought the bride and groom outdoors again in the misty rain, to kiss under the cover of umbrellas, to get some great shots at the front of the reception site. I’ve seen the photos and they are fabulous! I have been working in events for ten years and will hire Elizabeth in the future. She showed me something different – a creative energy to really capture the unique moments of this particular event. I’ve encouraged her to have our event published because I feel it is really that good.

Couldn’t have been more pleased!!! Beth recently did the pictures for our Memorial day wedding and she did an amazing job. The time line was tight because my husband and I didn’t want to see each other before the wedding, but Beth made it work and we got all the pictures we wanted. She was so sweet and organized and made the day go by so smoothly!! I never once worried that we weren’t going to get the pictures done. Thanks to Beth I have wonderful memories of my perfect day!

I have had the opportunity to be the recipient of Beth’s photographic talents and expertise a number of times and I feel very lucky.

My most recent experience of working with Beth was at my son’s wedding this past Memorial Day weekend. I was THRILLED when I realized he had hired her. She is sweet & calm, plus assertive in a gentle way. I ADORE the results we got!!! During the group photos she told us where and how to stand and we came out looking GREAT!  At one point I saw my son nervous as everyone was joking and not paying attention and she said, “Derrick, tell me what you want, and I will make it happen.,” and she did!!

Beth is gentle, plus assertive. She is sweet, plus strong. She can be discreet when need be and right there when necessary. I hope to always use Beth as our Photographer. I recommend her highly. I believe anyone would be lucky and grateful to have her as their Photographer.

We hired Beth for our November wedding, and were so pleased we found her! She was incredibly kind, fun and talented!! From our first meeting and engagement session, she made everything very comfortable and was willing to work with us on our price point and our overall style.

Beth worked out our day-of schedule, and although we inevitably ran behind, we definitely got the photographs we wanted and then some! She captured the overall feeling of the day, took some amazing candid style portraits, and gave us memories to last a lifetime. We had a large wedding and so we also had Lauren (Beth’s friend) photograph, and that was definitely necessary given the amount of people, we would highly recommend it.

Our guests went crazy for the photo booth they set up, and we have some awesome pictures to show for it. The only thing we would do over is to really think about the “must-have” pictures, in retrospect there were a few that we wish we would have thought about getting…but it’s hard to think about before hand, and then again Beth and Lauren took photographs we couldn’t have planned for but that are absolutely incredible!

Overall, we would hire Beth again for any important event and were very happy she was a part of our day. Trust her eye and overall vision, she’s wonderful!

Beth did an absolutely amazing job capturing our wedding in the way that we wanted. Many of our attendants as well as our wedding party commented on both her expansive and artistic coverage of our day, and also commented on her personality. Believe me, it makes a HUGE difference when your photographer is comfortable engaging with your guests because 1) It makes them more receptive and natural when being photographed and 2) When your wedding party is distracted and all over the place, they will respond to her assertiveness and humorous/kind demeanor that Beth has so that you can get the perfect shot taken in limited time period. Initially, I was concerned as Beth works alone, however, rest assured that she will get more coverage of your day than you though was humanly possible. Beth took so many artistic, beautiful, and candid pictures, she missed nothing and captured more than I could have imagined. I have had several friends and family comment on the amount of coverage that we had. Most every attendee was photographed talking, engaging and having a good time and our wedding was close to 200 people. There are so many perfect photographs. I feel that it was one of the best decisions that I made with regard to our wedding.

Jasmine + Lane

Beth was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC in every way! Not only did she capture every aspect of our wedding in an artistic fashion but she did it on the sly. We wanted less “posed” and more candid photos to really show who we are and the special moments that took place during the big day and that is exactly what we got. It was rare that I remember actually seeing Beth yet when the day was over she had taken nearly 1000 photos! Not only did me and my husband love her but multiple guests commented on how sweet she was. I have nothing but good words to say about her and her photography.

We were extremely satisfied with our photos and with Elizabeth in general. Her artistic talent in taking pictures captured moments that we will never forget. She was efficient, enthusiastic, and fun. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married or those who may just want a photo shoot.

Liz was exactly what we were looking for and really added a great element to our wedding. She fit right into the background and it was exciting to see all of the pictures, most of which I never knew she took. Her pictures were great and she was so easy to work with. She is definitely a professional and knows how to capture the style and personalities of everyone involved in the wedding.

Elizabeth demonstrated great flexibility, willingness to improvise and excellent photography when she served as the event photographer for a four-day Napa weekend we hosted for 48 other couples. In addition to arranging for posed couples shots and event candids throughout the weekend, she also fulfilled a special request by compiling a slide show (set to music) of the event for each attendee. Highly recommend Ms. Hurley’s professionalism and follow through.
