I started taking pictures when I was 10 years old with a Kodak Disk Camera, styling fashion photo shoots in the wonderland of my big sister’s closet. I often maxed out our family account at the local pharmacy, developing roll after roll of film, and have saved every photograph I have taken since.
While studying photography throughout High School and College, I developed my love for storytelling with images. Being present, spontaneous and graceful in my approach is most important to me.
I have been specializing in weddings and portraiture for over a decade, shooting coast to coast in every season – and quality of light.
Photographing people and their connections to the world is what inspires me. I always find what is beautiful, unique, and meaningful about each occasion, and I set my camera upon those moments. My style is described as photojournalism, with an eye for what is pretty and fun!
I grew up on the East Coast, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I currently live in San Francisco, my favorite city in the world, with my boyfriend and sweet dog, Elliott. When I am not taking pictures, I can be found hiking Mount Tamalpais and doing lots and lots of Yoga. Not only do I capture treasured moments, I can do so standing on one leg!
